We meet in Blackheath at 10.00 a.m. on the first Thursday in the month (see “Events” page for details) for a convivial low key gathering to hear interesting speakers on a range of matters green.
We enjoy a tasty morning tea and chance to socialise – and those of us who care to may enter a friendly flower arranging competition at the meeting. There are some truly gorgeous flowers, fruits, vegetables and other flora exotic and native found in the Blackheath area and our members display a splendid array.
New members are welcome.
Blackheath is in the country of the Dhurug and Gungundurra peoples and the Blackheath Horticultural Society respects the deep and unbroken connection with those people to their lands.
